The name describes this beautiful area of expansive views
and ancient eroded dunes of red sandstone, weathered away
into bizarre shapes of Elephants, Pigs, Beehives, and
anything else you can imagine! Following the
breathtakingly blue waters of Lake Mead, we'll follow the
path of the Old Spanish Trail to the hideout of an Indian
renegade, filled with petroglyphs that, could date back as far
as 5,000 years ago. This area is filled with Indian and
Pioneer history, and can include a stop at the Lost City
Museum, built on the site of an ancient Anasazi village.
